NiteLites of Cincinnati Partnering with Sinclair College Student to Fight Hunger

Share

We are proud to partner with Sinclair college student to help fight hunger on campus.

Our Cincinnati location is proud to announce its partnership with Sinclair Community College student Brandon Gash and his drive to give back to his fellow college community. In April, young Mr. Gash contacted us requesting help with a class project, which required him to lead a group in an activity to the benefit of a non-profit organization. He requested that our Cincinnati branch donates to the Dayton Foodbank to help feed Sinclair Community College students who are in need.

For nearly four decades, The Foodbank has served as the primary source of food for the hunger relief network in the Miami Valley. The Foodbank – the only one of its kind in the area – nourishes the hunger relief efforts of the community through the acquisition and distribution of food to agencies that feed hungry people throughout Montgomery, Greene and Preble counties. The Foodbank provides the infrastructure for more than 100 member programs that serve as the charitable hunger relief network in the area.

Any kind of donation helps The Foodbank put greater variety, more nutritional balance and larger quantities of products in the hands of those who need it most. In fact, for every dollar donated, The Foodbank provides food for eight meals to the community. This kind of community involvement, whether it is in this case monetary, or in other cases helping as volunteers with the distribution of food to the community, is dear to our lighting designers here at NiteLites. If you would like to donate or find out more about volunteering for this Dayton charity, visit their website at www.thefoodbankdayton.org

Here at NiteLites, we are locally owned and operated, and specialize in outdoor LED lighting systems that create a distinctive, luxurious and dramatic look at any property. We are honored to give back to the community by partnering with local charities and organizations. From donating a lighting system to the Fenwick Festival to sponsoring local soccer teams and fishing events for children with disabilities, we reach out to connect with the community we serve to make it a better place for all.
