Every year thousands of Americans take part in Light the Night. This is an organized walk dedicated to raising funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for their research of blood cancers. According to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night website, “Funds raised by teams and individual walkers provide: Lifesaving blood cancer research, free educational materials and events for patients and their families, local programs such as Family Support Groups and First Connection, a peer-to-peer counseling program, and comprehensive, personalized assistance through our Information Resource Center.” Rob Greening, owner of NiteLites of Houston LED Lighting, is the Walk Captain and is sponsoring a team during two different walks in the Houston area to help this important cause:
